Congress Overview


Congress Program

Building on the 2008, 2009 and 2010 annual meetings success and in order to be as comprehensive as possible, the course organizers and scientific committee and Boston University put together this year a unique congress joining three different but related specialties: spine surgery for both orthopedic and Neurological surgeons, Pain Management and general orthopedic courses.

Three different courses for the three different specialties will run for three full days. There will be a number of combined talks for the three specialties addressing common interest as well as separate talks for specialty specific topics.

During this course, pioneers and authorities in the respective specialties will offer the latest updates and hands-on cadaver and saw bone lab for spinal surgery, Pain Management techniques and Orthopedic Surgery. Practicing and academic physicians, surgeons and researchers as well as their trainees are very much encouraged to participate and present their scientific work.

Congress Objectives

This course seeks to enhance the knowledge and skills of the practicing physicians in all regions of the spine surgery, Pain management and orthopedic surgery specifically the cutting edge techniques in a relaxed atmosphere. This course also will help fostering one to one relationships among world scientist in all three specialties providing, a key element for continuing medical education and an opportunity for collaborative work across the Mediterranean sea, gulf region and throughout the world.

Course Tuition: Nominal tuition in order to provide a world class learning experience to all attendees and faculties.

This is a CME activity: 15 credits will be offered by the Boston University CME office
